you need to try ricciarelli! they are my fav holidays cookies. https://www.pinchmeimeating.com/ricciarelli/ also i love the book advent by anja dunk, especially her zimtsterne recipe!
I used them for storing larger quantities of cookies for a few days before assembling the boxes :) so they don't extend the shelf life per say but very useful for purpose of making cookie boxes (most the if the cookies in this box are good for a week or two in air tight container)
I love how beautiful this is! Recently my heart has been hurting for child and mother in my sister-in-laws 3rd-grade class as they don’t have enough food to eat and only get canned items delivered to them. One weekend the child only consumed a can of corn. I would love to make them dinner or dessert but am having trouble thinking of a way to make and deliver something beautiful. What type of recipe should I look for that most would like ? Soup or chilli (we are in cold NY) and fresh bread sounds like a good make ahead idea but they probably eat a lot of canned soups anyway... was curious if you had to make something what you would have in mind. She told my brother anything fresh is a luxury. Would love your feedback ❤️🧚

How long does the plastic shoe box extend the shelf life? ❤️

I'll never bake a single cookie in my life and still read this two times over!! I adore your writing and taste so much
Absolutely love panforte!! So underrated
i always add a variety of biscotti to my cookie boxes. they can be made in advance and hold up well! 🩷
So beautiful! Do you have a technique for sugaring the herbs and cherries? And is the orange fruit on the shortbread candied ginger?
