Crème de Marrons

For me, one of my favourite harbingers of cooler months is French pantry staple Crème de Marrons (chestnut spread). I love the tube it comes in - aesthetically it could double as a luxury beauty product - perfect for stashing in your purse in case an emergency sweet treat is needed ;)

What’s In My Bag - Holiday Essentials

1. Fane bra bag - I wear this bag all the time (even for my wedding!) - the shape is playful and chic (and fits so snugly by your side). Since it goes with everything I never have to think about it.

4. Tube of Crème de Marrons (to be squeezed directly into mouth)

5. Bay Street Video Receipt - I love going to the video store - last week’s rentals were A Soldier’s Daughter Never Cries, One Fine Day and Six Degrees of Separation. Making weekly trips here is such a balm, a much needed antidote to streaming.

In Toronto, Crème de Marrons can be found at Cheese Boutique (small tubes) and on the lower level of St. Lawrence Market in both tubs and tubes.
